The Early Years Of Walter Trout
Deep Trout is a historical compilation of songs from the years of Walter Trout's career when he was yet to be discovered in the United States. Deep Trout features a collection of songs spanning in time from 1989 - 1997. In addition there are 3 bonus tracks, one from 1972 showcasing a very young and enthusiastic Walter playing with his band, Wilmont Mews from the years when Walter's band was in steep competition with another Jersey band, Steel Mill featuring Bruce Springsteen! Another bonus track features Walter as a studio musician in a session with Freebo (Bonnie Raitt, John Mayall, Roy Buchanan). Through out the CD Walter showcases his knack for great song writing, smokin' guitar riffs, and solos that move and inspire. This CD offers a sample of the kind of music that defined the start of Walter Trout's solo career, and what inspired his now devoted, loyal, European fans to become believers of Trout's brand of HARDCORE BLUES!!!
